Rotary vane vacuum pump (rotary vane pump) is an oil sealed mechanical vacuum pump. Its working pressure range is 101325~1.33 * 10-2 (Pa), which belongs to the low vacuum pump. It can be used alone or as a front pump for other high vacuum pumps or ultra high vacuum pumps. It has been widely used in metallurgy, machinery, military industry, electronics, chemical industry, light industry, petroleum and pharmaceutical production and scientific research departments.

Rotary vane pump can extract the dry gas from the sealed container. If it is equipped with a gas-holding device, it can also extract a certain amount of condensable gas. But it is not suitable for the extraction of oxygen-rich, corrosive to metals, chemical reactions to pump oil, and gas containing particulate dust.

Rotary vane pump is one of the most basic vacuum equipment in vacuum technology. Rotary vane pumps are mostly small and medium sized pumps. Rotary pump has two kinds: single stage and double stage. The so-called two-stage structure is to connect two single stage pumps in series. It is usually made in two stages to achieve higher vacuum. The relationship between the pump speed and the inlet pressure of the rotary vane pump is as follows: under the inlet pressure of 1333 3Pa, 1.33 Pa and 1.33 *10-1 (Pa), the pump speed should not be lower than 95%, 50% and 20% of the nominal pump speed, respectively.
Rotary vane pump is mainly composed of pump body, rotor, rotary vane, end cover, spring and so on. A rotor is eccentrically installed in the cavity of the rotary vane pump. The outer circle of the rotor is tangent to the inner surface of the pump cavity (there is a small gap between the two), and two rotary vanes with springs are installed in the rotor slot. When rotating, the tip of the rotary blade keeps contact with the inner wall of the pump cavity by centrifugal force and spring tension, and the rotary rotor drives the rotary blade to slide along the inner wall of the pump cavity.

The two rotating blades divide the crescent-shaped space enclosed by the rotor, pump cavity and two end covers into three parts, A, B and C, as shown in the figure. When the rotor rotates in the direction of the arrow, the volume of space A connected with the suction port increases gradually and is in the suction process. The volume of the space C connected with the exhaust port is gradually shrinking, and it is in the exhaust process. The volume of B in the middle space is also gradually decreasing, and it is in compression process. As the volume of space A increases gradually (i.e. expansion), the gas pressure decreases, and the external gas pressure at the inlet of the pump is stronger than that in space A, so the gas is inhaled. When space A is isolated from the suction port, that is to say, it moves to the position of space B, the gas begins to be compressed, the volume gradually shrinks, and finally communicates with the exhaust port. When the compressed gas exceeds the exhaust pressure, the exhaust valve is pushed away by the compressed gas, and the gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the oil layer in the tank. By continuous operation of the pump, the purpose of continuous pumping is achieved. If the exhausted gas passes through the airway and transfers to another stage (low vacuum stage), it is pumped out by the low vacuum stage, and then compressed by the low vacuum stage and discharged to the atmosphere, then a two-stage pump is formed. At this time, the total compression ratio is borne by the two stage, thus raising the limit vacuum degree.

First, when choosing submersible pumps, we should pay attention to its type, flow and lift. If the specifications are not suitable, it will not be able to get enough water output and the efficiency of the unit can not be brought into play. In addition, we should also know the direction of rotation of the motor, some types of submersible pumps can be reversed when the forward and reverse water, but reversal of water output is small, large current, its reversal will damage the motor winding. Electric leakage protection switch should be installed to prevent electric leakage accident of submersible pump when working under water.
Two. When installing small submersible pump, the cable should be overhead and the power cord should not be too long. When the unit is launched, do not force the cable, so as not to cause the power cord to break. The submersible pump should not sink into the mud, otherwise it will cause bad heat dissipation and burn the motor winding.
Three, try to avoid starting at low voltage. Power supply voltage and rated voltage can not be 10%, too high voltage will cause motor overheating and burn out the winding, too low voltage will reduce the motor speed, such as less than 70% of the rated speed, the start of the centrifugal switch will be closed, resulting in long-term power on the start-up winding and even burn out the windings and capacitors. Do not switch the motor frequently, this is because when the pump stops running, there will be reflux. If you start the motor immediately, the load will start, resulting in excessive starting current and burning out the winding.
4. Do not let the pump long-term overload operation, do not pump sediment-laden water, pump dehydration operation time should not be too long, in order to avoid the motor overheating and burning. During the operation of the unit, the operator must always observe whether the operating voltage and current are within the specified values on the nameplate. If not, the motor should be stopped, find out the cause and troubleshoot.
Fifth, usually check the motor, such as found cracks in the lower cover, rubber seal ring damage or failure, should be replaced or repaired in time to waterproof infiltration machine.
